- Harry does not recommend specific stocks or mutual funds for a number of reasons. First and foremost, Harry feels that portfolio allocation selection is the responsibility of the investor, along with his or her financial advisor. Harry has thousands of subscribers and speaks to close to a million people each year. Because of their varying goals and risk tolerances, a recommendation beneficial to Mr. Smith may be a bad suggestion for Ms. Jones. Secondly, with the huge number of stocks available to the public, it is impossible for Mr. Dent to maintain current and accurate dossiers on each and every company. It would thus be embarrassing and socially irresponsible to endorse a particular company only to later discover that, although a good investment financially, that company’s business practices may be less than honorable.
- Harry’s speaking engagements are usually private engagements and the scripts or recordings are not made available to the general public. The HS Dent Company, however, does make available several audiocassette recordings of Harry, as well as a monthly newsletter which contains Harry’s most up-to-date analysis of the stock markets and technology. - Yes, you can use your old password and user id.
- The vast number of Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and email carriers available today would require too many versions of the newsletter to be created and thereby increase production costs.
- The HS Dent Foundation does not send attachments with our email messages. Some ISPs and email systems take the body of the email message and create an attachment. You do not need to open these attachments from HS Dent, should they come through this way because they would be exactly the same as the body of the email message.
